• The all-copper forged thin-pin design provides nominally better performance than earlier MCX159 designs.
   
• This solution is also suggested as an alternative for use with liquid cooling systems in lieu of a chipset waterblock. It provides in effect more than sufficient cooling performance without adding unnecessary restrictions to high-flow cooling systems. This will result in overall lower temperatures at the CPU and VGA level, where it really counts.
   
• The MCX159-CU is shipped with hold-down mechanisms for both Intel® and AMD® platforms. See important notes below for compatibility with your motherboard.
