Serial ATA is the next generation storage interface. With the trend
towards smaller footprint PCs, this thin & flexible premium cable will free much
needed space within the CPU, improve airflow and reduce over-heating. Optimized
for internal storage and with 150MBps transfer rate, it is faster than the
current UltraIDE’s speed of 133MBps. Serial ATA features Hot Plug capability,
low power consumption, point-to-point connection for easy installation &
configuration, and longer cables up to one meter. It will eventually support
speeds up to 300MBps.
